1. About ClariText
ClariText is a focused text-reading utility. It lets you paste or share text into the app, then adjust the font, font size, line spacing, text direction, and background color for more comfortable reading.
2. Information We Collect
ClariText does not require an account and does not collect personal information, usage data, analytics, advertising identifiers, or the text you read.
3. Local Storage
Text saved in ClariText, along with your reading preferences, is stored locally on your device. ClariText does not upload this content to a developer-operated server or cloud service.
4. Sharing Text
You may choose to share text into ClariText or share text from ClariText to another app. Sharing occurs only when you initiate it. The operating system and the receiving app handle the shared content according to their own privacy practices.
5. Saving Images
ClariText can save the formatted reading view as an image. The app may request permission to add that image to your photo library or gallery. ClariText does not upload the image.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete saved text inside the app. Uninstalling ClariText removes data stored by the app from the device. Images already saved to your photo library or gallery must be deleted separately from the Photos or Gallery app.
7. Children’s Privacy
ClariText does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
